Fatemeh Kamali Ahmadsaraii (wife of Emadin Baghi, the imprisoned Journalist) in an interview with ISNA said: "Hojatoleslam Seid Hassan Khomeini in a letter to Emadin Baghi, has approved that Mr.Neiazi, the Head of Juridical Bureau, had visited him at his office, revealing some facts about the death of his father Haj Ahmad Khomeini (the great Khomeini's son)."

"One of the most important issues of Baghi's Trial has been the case of suspicious death of Ahmad Khomeini. Although Baghi's writing was based on the news of Neiazi's visit, and despite extensive struggles in the court on the basis of the above facts, the court called the news of this visit as sheer lie and condemned Baghi.

"Thereby, Baghi wrote a letter to Hojatoleslam Hassan Khomeini (the grandson of the great Khomeini) and referring to his own contention and his judge statements at the court asked for his opinion. The replication was reported to him through the Center of Editorship & Publication of the great Khomeini's works as follows: 'Mr. Emaddin Baghi, with regards, I presumed that my verbal discussion with the judge would suffice, but in order to prevent any violation of rights, I hereby announce that: the news of the presence of Mr. Neiazi at my office and the fact that there has been some confessions regarding the death of Ahmad Khomeini are all sound and true. Mr. Neiazi himself has approved it, but the other discussions made on the same date and whether they have been true or not is another matter irrelevant to your case."

Ms. Ahmadsaraii added: "Baghi's lawyer thus wrote a protestation addressing Tehran's higher court of justice, explaining that "according to the article 168 of the constitutional law & the article 34 of the press law approved in 1985 asserting that any violation of laws by the press should be looked into by a public court with a jury and with regards to the fact that the previous court has not acted accordingly, the verdict issued by that court is therefore questionable & it should be invalidated."

The lawyer had added: "the judge's understanding of Baghi's articles & writings contradicts that of a number of ecclesiastics …"

Mortazavi, the judge famous for sending the journalists including Baghi to the prison has said: "The subject of publication of lies in Baghi's writings is so extensive that we did not deal with the subject of the death of Haj Ahmad Khomeini so much.

In an interview with Aftab Yazd, Mortazavi said: " in our verdict covering 31 pages, we did not choose to deal with the above subject extensively, as we did not wish to repeat Baghi's views on the matter.

Mr. Neiazi pays a visit to Haj Hassan Khomeini and makes some statements about Ahmad Khomeini, but the subject we in the court dealt with as fabrication & publication of lies in Baghi's writing was the part in which he says on behalf of Mr. Neiazi that 'Haj Ahmad has been murdered by a secret service circle while Mr. Neiazi has denied it. On the other hand, the complaining body in this case was the country's Ministry of Information (the secret service)."

Mortazavi added: "Mr. Neiazi had visited Haj Hassan and they had talked about the death of Ahmad Khomeini, but the way this conversation has been stated is all lies…

In response to the question dealing with Haj Hassan's reply to Baghi's inquiry, Mortazavi said: "Most probably, Haj Hassan has only approved of his visit with Mr. Neiazi and the fact that Mr. Neiazi had told him about the confessions made by some of the accused subjects in the famous criminal case of chained murderings in regards to the death of Haj Ahmad."
